Based in the Hemel Hempstead area, we are looking for a Warehouse Stock Controller to join this very busy team. You will be Responsible for ensuring that the company's stock levels meet business needs. Overseeing purchases and pricing reports, replenishing levels when necessary, and monitoring shipments or internal transfers between departments within one business enterprise. A passion for stock integrity.
Key Responsibilitieso Maintain Health and Safety, Quality and Hygiene guidelines.o Checking stock levels regularlyo Updating stock information on the SAPo Comparing items received against items orderedo Implementing or improving processes and procedureso Compiling daily reports and addressing inventory discrepancies o Devise ways to optimize inventory control procedureo Preforming random checks and audits o Inspect the levels of business supplies and raw materials to identify shortageso Ensure product stock is adequate for all distribution channels and can cover direct demand to customerso Record daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventoryo Use software to monitor demand and documentation characteristicso Place orders to replenish stock avoidance insufficiencies or excessive surpluso Analyse current status to anticipate future needso Collaborate with warehouse employees and other staff to ensure business goals are meto Report to upper management on stock levels and stock issues o Overseeing and planning a complete stock audit's a minimum three times a year Safety Responsibilitieso Follow, and ensure others comply to all company Safety Procedures, processes and procedures that are in place, including (but not limited to) COSHH, PPE, accident/incident reporting, first aid and manual handling.o Adhere to all Health and Safety at Work obligations.o Challenge non-compliance to Health and Safety, Quality and Hygiene guidelines.o Use any equipment at work in accordance with instructions and training.The ideal candidate will have high organisational capabilities, time management and working to deadlines, be an advanced Excel user, capable of managing and co-ordinating large volumes of data effectively. The ideal candidate will also have strong IT / systems awareness and inventory management systems and effective communication and attention to detail, proven history working in inventory management, excellent Knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods and also have a working knowledge of inventory management software (e.g. SAP, Power Bi)
Please note that a Reach Truck licence is essential for this role.
The company offer an attractive salary between £27,000-£29,000 per annum. Benefits include, free car parking, a canteen onsite and pension.
