TRAINING COORDINATOR

Our global client based in Hoddesdon has an exciting opportunity to work within their HR Department and support with training co-ordination. The role is a permanent position and offers a competitive salary with excellent benefits. Our client would also consider temp to perm for those candidates who are available immediately.

The successful candidate will ideally be required to work full-time hours (8:00am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday) and will be required to work onsite.

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

Provide an excellent Human Resource service by implementing an effective training coordination and administration service to the UK business.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Training

  • Schedule Training Sessions - using video conferencing software (create breakout rooms, etc).
  • Format Training materials
  • Produce PowerPoint materials
  • Researching and recommending new training techniques to HR
  • Providing vital information about training sessions and informing personnel about available training

ADDITIONAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Stay up-to-date with employment law and GDPR requirements.
  • The role requires meticulous attention to detail and for all work to be conducted strictly in accordance with company Policies and Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Perform analysis of organisational development and anticipate future employment needs
  • Suggest new ideas for improving training activities
  • Work efficiently and tidily such that work is carried out in a well-planned and organised way and timely manner.
  • Follow all Health, Safety and Environmental requirements that are defined on work instructions or communicated in training.
  • Responsible to maintain own training file.
  • Ensure that any operating practice or instrument defect, which may affect safety at work, is brought to the attention of Management.
  • Respect the confidentiality of information obtained in the course of duties performed and refrain from disclosing such information without written consent from Management, except where disclosure is required by law or by the order of a Court.

REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications:

Bachelor degree or other qualification preferably in Human Resources, or any other related field.

Desirable Experience:

  • Proven work experience as a training coordinator
  • Understanding of Training methods and techniques
  • HR Admin support experience

Knowledge & Skills

  • Accurate with a close attention to detail.
  • Good stakeholder and relationship management
  • Excellent problem analysis and problem solving skills
  • Reporting skills
  • Excellent planning and organization skills - Ability to multi-task, manage time, prioritise daily workload and accept changing priorities.
  • High proficiency in the use of MS Office (especially MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • High proficiency with video conferencing tools (Teams, Zoom, etc.)
  • Knowledge of survey / questionnaire software (surveymonkey, etc.)
