Frontline Recruitment Weymouth are seeking site agents for a successful independent building contractor. You will be responsible for managing a fast paced and diverse construction site, delivering a variant of projects to a high standard, on time and within budgetary constraints. Physical and other requirements: Valid Full UK Driver s License (preferable not mandatory). Eligibility to work in UK. Work and stay away during the working week. Physical ability to complete tasks as required by the role. Competence and Qualifications: Site Management Safety Training Scheme. NVQ (or equivalent) to minimum of Level 2 in Trade. CSCS Card relevant to position / trade. Experience of Managing a construction site. Asbestos Awareness. Manual Handling Working at Height Mobile Scaffold Tower Fire Awareness Face Fit Testing Skills and Attributes: Manage and work well with others in a construction environment. Follow instructions provided by Contracts Manager. Use own initiative to overcome problems. Ability to liaise with the customer, other construction professionals and members of the public. Excellent understanding of construction techniques and methods of installation and construction. Excellent organisational and leadership skills. Ability to motivate the workforce. Excellent understanding and compliance of health and safety guidelines and regulations. Excellent time management skills, and ability to work to a program. Work to high standards, producing work to meet standards as set by the customer and Blacknoll. Excellent communication skills with team, line manager, customers and their representatives. Key Duties: Assume overall responsibility for the successful delivery of projects. Manage, coordinate, supervise and motivate direct labour force and subcontractors. Undertake an ambassadorial role, representing the business to customers, public and official bodies. Manage work, ensuring detailed site diaries/records are completed, select and order tools and materials required for the task and ensure accurate measuring and thus minimal waste materials. Prepare and check site reports, designs and drawings, maintain quality control procedures and assess and minimise risks. Write reports and keep on top of paperwork. Support the negotiation of contracts and secure permits and licences. Construct and install to customer designs and specifications. Read, understand, implement and follow drawings, plans and schedule of works. Work with other related trades to complete project. Complete Toolbox Talks for specific tasks. Aid and comply in all site Health and Safety issues. This is to include reporting breaches, maintaining site facilities, filling out method statements / risk assessments and permits to work. Make safety inspections and ensure construction and site safety as well as complete all H&S paperwork, including permits, RAMS. Induct all staff and site visitors on to the site. Supervise the use of machinery and equipment. Support and contribute to the further development and growth of the Company and take a proactive approach to communicating any new suggestions and ideas for the business to your line manager. Other duties which the Company may reasonably require the individual to undertake
