Service Account Manager Salary: Up to £33,000 + car or car allowance Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne (Hybrid Working) The Role: The Service Account Manager is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high quality services to our clients customers. It is a crucial role that allows us to develop positive relationships with their clients; providing a mechanism to understand their ever changing business requirements and how IT services can be best used to help meet those needs. Responsibilities: Building mutually beneficial and long lasting customer relationships Providing a personalised interface for customers, which focuses on ensuring that the highest levels of client satisfaction are achieved and sustained Conducting regular service review meetings with clients Acting as a point of escalation for repeat and chronic issues Creating and maintaining service enhancement plans, ensuring that actions are followed through to completion in a timely manor Driving internal reviews and service improvements to existing processes Ensuring that customer expectation is aligned with the services and products to be delivered Providing regular and accurate management reporting Identifying opportunities for optimisation and growth Working with customers and other internal teams to develop IT roadmaps in line with our client s current and future business requirements. Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required: Essential Previous experience of working within a customer facing role and a good understanding of business objectives An enthusiastic, committed and flexible approach to work Be solutions driven, demonstrating a confident and personable approach when dealing with customers Have a clear understanding of the importance and value of delivering high quality customer care Understanding of customer business requirements and the ability to translate these into service deliverables The ability to work well to deadlines and remain calm under pressure An excellent standard of written and verbal communication skills Excellent analytical, process and documentation skills Highly motivated with the ability to work on your own initiative Ability to work well with other teams in order to drive through service improvements Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications Full UK Driving Licence Desirable Knowledge and basic understanding of the components of IT Infrastructures including Connectivity, Telephony, Managed Networks, Cloud, Hosting and Application services Previous experience of working within a Data Centre Provider, ISP or Managed Services environment Experience of providing Service Management within the IT sector ITIL Qualified This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading organisation at an exciting time with genuine opportunities for career development and progression and the ability to work in hybrid capacity.
