An opportunity has arisen for an organised and experienced Senior Purchase Ledger to support an established team in the Bugbrooke office.
This a great opportunity for a self-motivated and hardworking candidate with experience in managing/supervising a team.
This is a key role within the team so you must be able to carry out the following day to day duties, which are critical to the operation and performance of the department.
Role to include:
-Setting up new suppliers on system
- Sorting of post
- Invoice entry
- Invoice Approval
- Cheque payments
- Bacs payments
- Daily control reports
- Handling queries - internal & external
- Speaking to suppliers
- Knowledge of Excel and Outlook is preferred
- Matching weighbridge tickets to invoices
- Processing farmers contracts
- Processing claims
- Printing self billed invoices
- Updating haulage details
- Goods In reports
To be considered for the role you need to be familiar with a Finance environment, be IT literate, have great organisation and numerical skills and ideally have accounting knowledge.
