A UK-based digital healthcare company with ambitious goals and a strong footprint in education and workplace support, local authority social care teams, and NHS trusts. We deliver a combination of human and technological support to end users with a range of needs, including many who are autistic or who have neurological differences of mental health challenges. As a rapidly scaling business, our aim is ultimately to change the way care is delivered with an overall purpose to make the world a fairer more accessible place. We are looking for an exceptional Senior Business Development Manager to sell our population-based solution to NHS and Local Authorities. Passionate and purpose driven, the successful candidate will own the sales cycle from identification of customer through to close. You will be supported by Lead generation, a strong delivery team and skilled marketing team. You will have a proven track record of selling solutions into Local Authority and/or NHS at a senior level, dealing directly with Commissioners. You ll possess detailed knowledge of the new Health and Social Care Structures and also how the funding streams operate within them. You will have a demonstrable track record of delivering against targets and strong stakeholder management skills. The role is a national role and will suit an ambitious Business Development Manager who is looking to develop their career whilst adding significant value to a rapidly scaling organisation. Key Tasks Alongside the Commercial Director develop a detailed and targeted sales strategy In liaison with the Marketing team create meaningful and impactful lead generation campagins Develop existing customer relationships to identify how we can enagge them to purchase our Population based approach Develop and submit compelling sales proposals based upon clients need Conduct end to end commercial negotiations Sales pipeline management, including annual and quarterly forecasting, monthly reporting, CRM management Input to our outward facing communications e.g. website, social media, direct mail and thought leaderhsip objectives Ensure excellent client service and client experience. Stay up to date with new product features and implementation approaches Essential Skills Consultative sales approach based on understanding customers' needs and positioning solution accordingly Excellent presentation skills both in person and online Significant experience of selling solutions to Health and Social Care Detailed knowledge of the new Health and Social Care structures Strong numeracy and an ability to present data to senior stakeholders Strong influencing and negotiating skills. Good written and verbal communication skills. An ability to work both independently and as part of a team. An ability to work under pressure and to deadlines. Desirable Skills Experience working in a start up/ scale up organsiation An understanding of how technology can be used to support people to live independent lives This position will be field based and, as there will be travel involved with the role, you will need your own transport and hold a valid driving licence
