Requirements To be considered for the role of SEND Learning Support Assistant - North Tyneside you will: Previous experience of working in an educational or care setting with young people or adults with learning difficulties. Have a desire to engage and support children and young people in learning and education. Manual handling training is desirable but not essential. Calm, patient and empathetic. Ideally hold a level 2 or 3 health and social care or teaching assistant qualification. Happy assisting children in and out of the hydrotherapy pool. Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Previous experience of working in an educational or care setting with young people or adults with learning difficulties.
