Job Title: Sales Manager - Automotive & Technical Reports To: Business Development Director Department: Sales and Business Development Job Purpose: As a high-performing Sales Manager you will help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for maximising our sales team potential, designing sales plans, and justifying those to plans to the Senior Management Team. Responsibilities: Developing and implementing strategic sales plans that expand a company s customer base and solidify its presence Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing sales teams and by assessing the team s strengths and weaknesses Establishing productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts Building and promoting healthy, long-lasting customer relations by partnering with them Quoting on requests from current clients and new clients Developing and implementing new sales initiatives, strategies and programmes to capture key demographics Requirements To identify opportunities in sales and profits and possess knowledge Develop the Sales Team to achieve or exceed set sales performance targets. Skilled in data analysis and managing customers using customer relationship management (CRM) as this position involves working with a lot of data and prospects. Quotation generation Formal written quotes and QAF completion Education/Skills & Experience: Three to five years experience working in the sales field. Proven, successful track record in leading a sales department to achieve its goals. Skilled in data analysis and managing customers using customer relationship management (CRM). The ideal candidate will have a degree in Business, or Engineering, however an aspiring sales manager with a demonstrable experience in an appropriate field will also be considered. Computer technology and media skills are also crucial for advertising and media sales. A qualification in commercial or business law will be beneficial.
