Regional Vice President

As a First Line Sales Manager, you will be managing and developing a team of Account Executives. You will participate and lead in client and prospect meetings as well as work cross-functionally with stakeholders and corporate resources as required. You will be responsible for ongoing mentoring and development of the sales team which includes recruiting, hiring and training new team members on sales process. In this role, you will report on sales activity and forecast to senior sales management.

Department Description:

Our Commercial Business Unit sells to our customer base with 0 to 4500 employees across a diverse set of industries including but not limited to manufacturing, professional services, high tech, media and advertising. Your team will sell the entire Salesforce portfolio, including core CRM and any additional products and solutions relevant to this customer segment (the Salesforce PaaS Platform, CPQ, Quip, AI, Analytics, etc).

The teams are broken down into the following segments:

Small medium Business (1-200 employees)

Mid Commercial (201 - 1000 employees)

General Commercial (1001 - 4500 employees)

Enterprise Select (5000-10,000 employees)

Enterprise Key (10,000 plus employees)

Their teams sell across multiple verticals. Their teams (varying from 6-12 team members) may sell the entire Salesforce platform (Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Platform, CPQ, Quip, Analytics etc).

You will be masterful in client engagement and impact how your customers do business in an ever-changing environment. You will coach your team to develop in their careers, and inspire your team to do the best work of their life.

Your Qualifications

-5-15 years sales experience + 3-5 years of sales leadership experience, managing a team of seven or more quota carrying sales people
  • Support direct reports by participating and leading client and prospect meetings. Engage other corporate resources as required
  • Ongoing mentorship and development of a sales team which includes recruiting, hiring and training new Account Executives on sales process
  • Conducting weekly forecast meetings. Coach direct reports regarding strategies to drive closure
  • Report on sales activity and forecast to senior sales management
  • Consistently monitor the sales activity of the team, and track the results
