Well established group of companies in an interesting niche market are looking to appoint a Management Accountant due to retirement. This is initially being offered on an interim role in order to ensure that a handover is completed - but the successful person will be in pole position for the permanent role.
In this role you would take ownership for the management accounts for 2 divisions, working closely with 2 accounts clerks and reporting into a Group Financial Controller. This role would particularly appeal to you if you enjoy a broad remit typical of a privately owned SME but with the additional security of being part of a larger successful group.
To be considered for this role you should have strong general management accounting experience and whilst professional qualification will be considered favourably it is not essential. You should also be able to demonstrate excellent Excel skills and knowledge of Sage Line 50 would be advantageous.
