HR Advisor These are exciting times for the charity and we now have an excellent opportunity for a proactive and professional individual to join the team as a People Team Advisor. Position: People Team Advisor Location: Remote (onsite attendance currently estimated to be 1-2 days per month) Salary: £31,519 per annum Hours: Full-time Contract: Permanent Benefits: Generous annual leave, pension scheme, Healthshield plan, confidential counselling service, subsidised restaurant, free parking, enhanced maternity/paternity benefits, Life Assurance Scheme, 31 day s holiday per year, inclusive of the 8 statutory public holidays. This increases by one day each year until a maximum of 34 days is reached. Closing Date: Tuesday 27 September 2022. Interviews will be held in Sidmouth during the week commencing Monday 10 October 2022. The Role As a People Team Advisor you will be reporting into the People Team Operations Manager. Your responsibilities will include: Providing expert support and advice to managers in all areas of HR and employee relations matters, both in the UK and internationally. Ensuring HR policies, procedures and standards are applied fairly, reasonably and consistently throughout the charity. Chairing a range of employee relations meetings including absence and disciplinary dismissal hearings. Participating in, and where appropriate lead on, a variety of projects, finding effective solutions to improve the people service across the whole charity. Collaborating with international teams to drive the implementation of People Team initiatives and to act as an ambassador for the directorate. About You You will hold a Level 5 CIPD qualification with post qualification experience (or equivalent expertise through study and experience) of working within a multi-site environment and will possess demonstrable experience of being part of a successful people function in an international context. A real people person, with strong interpersonal and influencing skills, you will establish, build and maintain successful professional partnerships with stakeholders and enhance the credibility of the people function. Your comprehensive knowledge and experience of employment law and people practices will enable you to manage complex employee relations and performance management issues confidently and effectively.
