Head of Existing Business - FMCG & Retail - Hybrid/ Remote working Our client is a leading SaaS business providing marketing leading data research and insights via a very sophisticated intelligence platform. The Business are on a very exciting journey and are now established across the FMCG and Retail sectors for reliable consumer data. Their platform allows manufacturers and retailers to understand exactly what consumers want to see on shelves. This helps reduce time and cost spent developing new products, which make for better products, faster!! They have a very well-established consumer panel which is well segmented and has grown an enviable client list of businesses. The business now needs someone to head up their existing business portfolio, lead the team and expand their profile internally with customers. About the role Strong Commercial and People Management Skills are key for this role. lead the team to achieve two of the business s key objectives: client retention and growth. In this role you will be responsible for growing revenue and embedding the product across core clients. Therefore, a proven record of growing existing business/contract value is required. Leading a small team of c. four people, you will use your people management skills to get the most out of the team, supporting through the business values of: Candid and Caring, High Performing Passionate People, Agile and Empowered to Succeed. You and your team will work with clients who are new committed and existing customers. Selling to new clients is not within this remit. The Person Ideal candidates will have a good understanding of how data & insight is used by large businesses and some experience of the product development process in the FMCG sector (specifically large-scale Food & Beverage manufacturers and major retailers). You will have proven account management experience and be highly organised and efficient Ideally you will currently work for or be working with manufacturers from within the FMCG sectors, particularly in Food & Beverage. You will be effective at delegating and have outstanding account management skills yourself You will need to be ambitious and self-starting, professional with a curious mind and good communication skills. This will really suit someone looking to develop and progress as the business is evolving at pace. Remote hybrid working, extremely agile work environment.
