They are going through expansion and looking for a business development manager to join their team. This is an entry level role, and we are not after any industry experience. You will be a self-starter, and from a sales/target driven background. This is a very exciting opportunity, where you will be given ongoing comprehensive sales/industry training and mentoring, designed to give exposure to a wide range of sales functions and activities. My client is based near Heathrow, and you must live within a 10-15-mile radius. Salary is up to £25k + OTE £35k, and there is a chance for a salary increase to £30k within the first 9-12 months!!My client offers courier services to businesses internationally and across the London territory. This role is to win new business within the London Territory!What does the role look like? You will start on a 2-3 month training programme, learning sales functions such as: prospecting, cold calling, customer service, marketing, accounts work, along with industry knowledge. You will be based out of the offices in Heathrow and be expected to go on 3-6 client visits within central London each week. Work towards set targets and Kpis, e.g., arrange 6-10 appointments per week, with the aim to convert and close at least half. You must be. A well-educated individual up to A-level standard Strong written and verbal skills. Punctual and polite. Articulate, charismatic and presentable. Be able to take rejection from potential new customers. An individual with a persuasive nature, mature and adaptable to different business environment dynamics. Have good mathematical understanding. A competent understanding of world geography. A 'go getter' who will make 100 telephone calls a day when in the office. Enjoys visiting Central London.
