A company in Preston are seeking a Credit Controller to join the team on a permanent basis due to an increase in workload following successful growth in the local market. Hybrid working and reduced hours on a Friday are part of the benefits package. Working in a modern office and offering the opportunity for progression you will report into the Credit Manager, your main duties will include:

  • Managing your own client ledger minimising the aged debt on the accounts
  • Resolving queries internally and externally
  • Agreeing and negotiating payments over the phone
  • Ad-hoc reporting for the Credit Manager

The ideal candidate will have at least 12 months experience in a credit control or collections team and enjoy working in a busy but rewarding environment. With a confident and pro-active approach you will enjoy working to and exceeding targets.
