Cloud Infrastructure and Security Manager Hybrid working (Cambridge)

The RoleAs an experienced Cloud and Infrastructure specialist, you will be responsible for the management and configuration of both physical and virtual infrastructure, implementing group standards such as Cisco Meraki network security devices, implementing hardening policies, and configuring the Microsoft modern workplace environment. An essential part of the role is working in detail with cloud technologies such as Office 365 and Azure. You will have experience in managing a small team, managing and securing Endpoints, creating hybrid environments with on-premises Active Directory, Azure AD and Single Sign On, creating, maintaining, and monitoring VM deployments in Azure, and migrating on premise virtual environments into Azure.

Responsibilities: Be subject matter expert in everything Azure, Office 365, infrastructure, networking and end-user device management. Removing technical debt such as legacy hardware and software Working with the business to evaluate and assess Infrastructure and Security posture for improvement Supporting the design, management, and maintenance of all systems across EPM, ensuring they are hardened, adequately provisioned, and have the capacity to support the business ongoing requirements Supporting the review, implementation, and adoption of new infrastructure technologies Working closely with third-party service providers. Advise and update senior leaders on progress in key areas of infrastructure and security improvement

Required Skills and Experience: In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience configuring and maintaining Office 365, InTune, ASR and Azure / Azure AD, AVD and Power BI instances. Hands-on experience of managing users, devices, and mailboxes in Office 365. Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Single Sign On and federation Passionate about introducing and maintaining high standards and best practices across environments. Migration experience moving on-premises servers to cloud environments. Knowledge and experience configuring and deploying Azure resources - IaaS, PaaS etc. PowerShell scripting experience. Experience of installing and configuring network security devices such as firewalls, switches, and routers. Cisco Meraki experience would be beneficial but not essential Hands-on experience securing Office 365 including configuring conditional access policies, Intune policies, Autopilot, and ATP. A good understating of Cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities that impact the infrastructure you manage, design and build. A good understanding of SOC technologies e.g. Microsoft Sentinel SIEM. Knowledge of best practice for setting up and securing cloud environments such as Azure. Ability to implement infrastructure components in line with platform hardening standards Experience in identifying and remediating unpatched and end-of-life technologies either by internal or external vulnerability scanning and testing. Need to be a good clear communicator both written and verbal, with the ability to convey relevant detailed high-level, and low-level information to all levels. Ability to engage with key stakeholders from key business process owners, Project Management, Development, and other business units. Strong understanding of ITIL service management principles such as Incident Management, Change Management and Asset Management The ability to perform at pace and often under pressure. Any exposure to SQL technologies would be advantageous.
