A large organisation, boasting a UK turnover in excess of £230M is looking to recruit two Business Development Executives as part of their growth strategy. The Business Development Executive is tasked with winning new business within the SME & Corporate market segments covering a territory of the West Midlands. This is a highly consultative, solution led sales position where you will be prospecting FD's, MD's and C-Suite executives with the view to solving their challenges in regards to insuring their organisations and everything that goes with that. The sales cycle length can be both short (a few weeks) to long (up to a year) and once business has been won it is passed to a client relationship manager to assist moving forward. The Business Development Executive can find leads via access to a large database of contacts, via introductions from third parties (banks), incoming leads and standard self-generation activities. The Business Development Executive has autonomy to manage their own diary to work from home and the office which is situated in Birmingham. Requirements: To be considered for the Business Development Executive role you must have: Sales experience selling a service not a product Strong preference for people who have sold to Director level Desire to learn and progress Structured, organised approach, with the ability to work on your own and as part of a team UK full drivers license The Package: For the Business Development Executive: Basic: £40,000 - £50,000 Bonus: £10,000 - £30,000 year one within an uncapped scheme Benefits: Car allowance (£5,000), mobile, laptop, pension, 25 days holiday + BH The Company: One of the largest insurance brokerage companies in the world, with a strong heritage and excellent reputation.
