Macildowie are currently working in conjunction with a successful and rapidly expanding business who are seeing an Area Business Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

Due to exponential growth, they are looking for a talented Area Business Manager with exceptional drive and determination to succeed. For the right candidate there is an opportunity to join a rapidly growing business as a key member of an exceptional Sales Team.

They are looking for someone who will have the courage to be bold and take risks, spotting opportunities and using their initiative to act on them, quickly. They will understand the importance of urgency in their role but will also ensure that every task is executed with excellence.

The Area Business Manager will be a natural relationship builder, developing winning relationships internally and externally. Reporting to the ABM Team Leader, the successful candidate will oversee a portfolio of independent retailers and electrical appliance stores.

They will have an optimistic and energetic presence and will collaborate with other members of the Sales Team to ensure that everyone is set for success together. They will enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, enjoy being challenged, and value the opportunity to make a difference. Responsibilities

  • Building winning relationships with both new and existing accounts
  • Achieving quarterly and annual sales budgets
  • Maintaining an accurate sales forecast across portfolio
  • Exceptional cross functional working, particularly with marketing to identify and execute our branded activities with excellence
  • Negotiating trading terms within agreed guidelines
  • Frequent travel within assigned geographical area and, when required, globally
  • Strong commercial acumen to assess and anticipate key business opportunities

  • Ability to think laterally and work autonomously
  • Strong drive and ability to meet and exceed sales goals
  • Valid driver's license & fit for purpose car
